The reality is that large designer brands such as Gucci, Hermes, LV, etc. are becoming outdated as consumer demand has shifted from wanting to appear "wealthy" to wanting to show their "intelligence". 10 years ago if you bought a *niceshopx* you were "cheap" and "fake", now you're "smart" and "cost-conscious" because customers have realised their's no need to pay 10x more for the same quality bag.

In my opinion VC is a scam website with horrible customer service. I have been using the platform since 2015 and at the end of the week I am deleting my account. I have been sold questionable authenticity bags, which despite the red flags were re- listed and sold on the platform. I have been sold items that were in deplorable condition, but we're listed as very good or never worn and the only way I was able to recover my money is through a fight with VC customer service. However, my latest experience has completely turned me off VC. I ordered an item that I needed for a special occasion, allowing the necessary time for the seller to ship it and the shipment to be delivered on time. The seller shipped the item fast, however the carrier " lost it" in their warehouse for more than 3 weeks.... Yesterday, I raised a case to get a refund, as per VC shipping terms and conditions I should receive the item within 5 days after shipping- it has been now 4 weeks. After raising the request, the courier has updated the tracking info this morning to " shipped- on its way". I no longer need or to be honest want this item- I had to find another suitable solution for my event. The only response I have received from VC is the package is on the way. I have requested a refund of my shipping charges, which are quite high, but VC customer service is telling me that there is nothing they can do and the package is on its way, despite their failure to deliver it on time and despite the delivery being in breach of their own terms and conditions for delivery. This is the worst customer service ever.
